1. Glengoyne Distillery Tour: Wednesday, 19 June, 1:30pm-5:00pm

A private coach will take you direct to the door of the iconic and beautifully located Glengoyne Distillery, located 30 minutes' drive north of Glasgow city centre. This is a unique opportunity to see one of Scotland's many whisky distilleries!

The tour costs just £10 per person, which includes a dram of Glengoyne's whisky. We will collect this in cash from you before arrival at the distillery so we can pay as a group for the discounted rate. The tour finishes in the shop with a little time to enjoy the stunning Scottish countryside with views and short walks by the distillery. The coach will return to Glasgow by 5:00pm.

2. Behind the scenes of the Andersonian Library at the University of Strathclyde: Tuesday, 18 June, 3:30pm-4:10pm

The Andersonian Library has its origins in 1796 with John Anderson’s collection of books, which we still have in our Archives and Special Collections today. Since that time we have built up a collection of over one million print volumes and over one million electronic items. This tour of the Library will show you some of the features of the Library building: the silent and group study areas, including the recently refurbished small group study rooms, the computer suites, the exhibition area, the Education Resources Centre and the Assistive Technologies room.

We will meet at the conference location (Graham Hills Building) and walk up to the Andersonian Library, Curran Building, just 5 minutes' walk from the conference venue in central Glasgow.

3. Behind the scenes of the Andersonian Library at the University of Strathclyde: Wednesday, 19 June, 8:45am-9:15am

Same tour as above, but a different day and time to help you schedule a tour of our university's library around all your other conference plans! We will meet at the Andersonian Library at the start of the tour and then go to the conference venue after the tour.
